PULSAR joint Education and Financial Reporting Communities of Practice 8th Workshop

The main objectives of this face-to-face workshop will be focusing on:

1. Discuss the IFMIS implementation process and the relevance of integration between budget, financial accounting/reporting, and fiscal statistics.
2. Discuss the process of the consolidation of financial statements prepared under different reporting frameworks, including local governments and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), and the role of the IFMIS.
3. Discuss the latest developments in sustainability reporting and its implications for public sector in terms of legislation, organizational arrangements and roles, link with financial reporting, practical aspects, such as disclosures, and capacity building.
