The report describes the South-South Corporate Financial Reporting Exchange Program for Moldova, as a result of which the Moldovan side obtained a better understanding of challenges and defined some policies to achieve the aim of setting up and operating a modern system of financial reporting which is aligned with EU requirements.
The CFRR produces regular reports for its main programs to inform donors, participants and other stakeholders of how the programs are developing. These progress reports summarize the activities carried out under the program and outline how the experience gained will be used to improve the design of the next stages of the program.
As part of the Joint Economic Research Program (JERP), the CFRR has published a report summarizing the options for continuing the reform of financial reporting for small- and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan.

Five-day workshop was delivered by the CFRR on May 16-20, 2022, in Yerevan, Armenia on the IFRS 17 “Insurance Contracts” Implementation for Armenian Regulators and Insurance Industry. The event was organized in cooperation with the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).

Building on previous Accounting and Auditing Standards Communities of Practice (A&ACoP) events, this workshop was organized by the World Bank Centre for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR), as part of the “Strengthening Auditing and Reporting in the Countries of the Eastern Partnership” (STAREP) program.
A two-day virtual forum for banking and insurance regulators was delivered by the CFRR on December 13 and 14, 2021 under two flagship regional programs: Strengthening Auditing and Reporting in the Eastern Partnership (STAREP) and the Road to Europe Program of Accounting Reform and Strengthening Institutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (REPARIS for SMEs). Representatives of regulators from Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic also joined the event.
