This group exercise further builds on the facts presented in the practical case study “Orotavia Capital City Municipality”, that is used throughout the Internal Audit Training of Trainers modules and aims to enhance participants knowledge about performing fraud risk assessments by following a structured framework including elements of fraud risk identification, assessment, and response.

Accounting Vouchers and Principles of Bookkeeping - Expectations in 21st Century

This study is available in English and Polish. It assesses the current regulations and practices related to accounting vouchers and bookkeeping in Poland, including cross-cutting tax regulations, and compares them with selected EU countries (France, Germany and UK). The study was undertaken at the request of the Polish Ministry of Finance, and funded under the Financial Reporting Technical Assistance Program (FRTAP) by a grant from Switzerland through the Swiss Contribution to the Enlarged European Union.

PULSAR Joint FinCoP and EduCoP Workshop

From April 23-25, 2018, the second workshops of FinCoP and EduCoP were held in Vienna, bringing together more than 100 participants and speakers from 17 countries. Senior officials from MOF and Court of Audit of Austria joined the events, and leading international experts contributed to the sessions including representatives from IPSASB, CIPFA, Eurostat EPSAS Working Group, and IMF.

Over 50 stakeholders, including policymakers, representatives from the academia, the profession, regulators, private and public sector employers, business community, as well as development partners, met in Skopje on June 27, 2017 with a view to building consensus on, and facilitating in-county accountancy education reforms.

Audit Training of Trainers Virtual Workshop: Leveraging Data Analytics to Add Value for SMEs

This session showcased a possible example how Small and Medium Sized Practitioners (SMPs) can employ data analytics solutions to add value to their Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients and shared further insights and relevant considerations for SMPs in the area of audit data analytics. The session also provided preliminary insight into the responses to the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) Data Analytics Working Group (DAWG) on its Request for Input “Exploring the Growing Use of Technology in the Audit, with a Focus on Data Analytics”.
