The Foundational Accounting and Financial Management Skills Enhancement (FASE) Program Virtual Knowledge-sharing Event

The FASE Program objective is to enhance foundational skills in accounting and financial management in Africa by developing more accounting technicians to serve in the public and private sectors, a key pillar for improving accountability and transparency.

The program key activities include:

• Study on professional accountancy in on five French speaking countries - Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Sénégal and Tunisia,
• Supporting the five French speaking countries to develop and rollout accounting technician qualifications, and
• Designing an accounting technician qualification for Africa (ATQ f A) to be made available for rollout by African countries and support 3 countries (Angola, Mozambique, and South Sudan) to pilot the qualification.

The aim of this event is share knowledge on the support provided to the five countries to review/develop the accounting technician qualification. The event will be in English with simultaneous translation into French.
