The FASE Program objective is to enhance foundational skills in accounting and financial management in Africa by developing more accounting technicians to serve in the public and private sectors, a key pillar for improving accountability and transparency.
The program key activities include:
- Study on professional accountancy in on five French speaking countries - Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Sénégal and Tunisia,
- Supporting the five French speaking countries to develop and rollout accounting technician qualifications, and
- Designing an accounting technician qualification for Africa (ATQ f A) to be made available for rollout by African countries and support 3 countries (Angola, Mozambique, and South Sudan) to pilot the qualification.
The aim of this event is share knowledge on the support provided to the five countries to review/develop the accounting technician qualification. The event will be in English with simultaneous translation into French.
