Education Community of Practice (EDUCOP) focuses on strengthening public sector accounting education, training, and professionalization. It supports the development of national curricula, certification programs, and continuing professional development initiatives aligned with IFAC’s International Education Standards (IES) and emerging global practices. 

EDUCOP engages universities, professional accountancy organizations (PAOs), and government training institutions to improve the quality and relevance of education for public sector finance professionals. It promotes the integration of sustainability and digital competencies into training programs and supports the rollout of IPSAS certification for government accountants. 

Through peer-assisted learning, training-of-trainers programs, and collaborative workshops, EDUCOP fosters a community of educators and practitioners committed to building technical capacity and elevating the public sector finance function.
