Around 40 experts and practitioners from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia took part in this regional workshop focusing on accounting education reforms. This was the sixth workshop to have been organized by the STAREP education community since 2014. Previous workshops have focused on the content of undergraduate accounting degree programs.

During the workshop, participants identified several "champions" from the Accounting and Auditing Education Community of Practice who will share their expertise in different areas of accounting and audit education with their peers in the future.

Participants made significant progress towards finalizing the Regional Curriculum, and shared the outcomes of the diagnostics completed to date as well as reviewing the reforms that have been undertaken in the region.
